Providence Rhode Island-based financial advisor David Vanech has been appointed to the 2020 Board of Directors at the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning and Providence After School Alliance. The Partnership, known shorthand as PPPRI, is an initiative Vanech holds close to his heart. Though his professional career has been dedicated to financial and investment planning, on a personal front, Vanech has always had a passion for education and student success. Vanech looks forward to working with the partnership to further their efforts and contribute to the success of future generations.
Providence After School Alliance (PASA)
As Development Chair of the Providence After School Alliance, Vanech focuses on bridging the gaps existing in school systems, providing learning opportunities outside of normal class hours and over the summer and developing sustainable public-private partnerships that can serve as an effective national model for replication.
Components of the After-School Alliance Include:
- Logistical support – such as coordinating transportation, food, and recruitment.
- Educational Team – comprised of over 200 part-time instructors across 80 organizations
- Quality Programs – set to the highest standards and designed to make a real impact on over 2000 youth served yearly
- Resources – over the course of 15 years the Partnership has raised over $24 million used to help enrich and better the lives of over 14,000 students across middle and high school.

The Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Rhode Island (PPPRI) is an association comprised of like-minded colleagues and advancement professionals working in allied fields. The “Partnership” is a purpose-driven organization dedicated to furthering the gift planning profession with educational and professional development.

He holds a B.A. in American Studies from Wesleyan University and has a documented track record of success in the financial industry.
