Icon Dental Center Seattle Stresses the Importance of Social Distancing and Taking Precautions During Coronavirus Outbreak
Icon Dental Center Seattle & Everett aims to help their patients in any way that they can during the Corona Virus outbreak but is stressing the importance of social distancing in a time of viral crisis around the globe. With their patients’ and staff safety in mind, the dental office has closed to help stop the spread of the viral infection but is offering limited services for emergency dental needs.

Seattle, WA – For Icon Dental Center Seattle and Everett, being sanitary has been and will always be a top priority but during the crisis that Seattle and the rest of the world are currently faced with, the COVID-19 outbreak, the dental office is stressing the importance of social distancing and stopping the spread of the virus and has thus decided to close their office at least through May 18th. However, with the aim to help their patients as best as they can, the dental office urges patients with dental emergencies to call into the office to set up a special appointment.

In order to adhere to the updates and recommendations of the CDC, American dental association, and Washington state Department of Health, Icon Dental Center Seattle & Everett made the tough decision to close its doors to elective treatment services. While it is unfortunate to have to close the practice temporarily, Icon Dental Center understands the importance of keeping their staff and patients safe during this time. By pausing all non-emergent dental care, Icon Dental Center is doing its part in the fight to flatten the curve in Seattle, Everett and in the United States and urges patients to do the same. If a patient is faced with an emergent dental care situation, such as orofacial pain, swelling, or infection, please call the office so an appointment can be arranged. Icon Dental Center  hopes that the measures they are taking as well as what is being done throughout the world will effectively flatten the curve and get the practice back to treating all patients as soon as possible.

In addition to ramping up sanitary measures within the practice, Icon Dental Center encourages all of their patients to do what they can to be as sanitary as possible. Whether it is effectively washing one’s hands, using hand sanitizer, and practicing social distancing, the efforts from the staff and patients together will go a long way to flattening the curve. Contracting the Corona Virus At Dentist offices can be a real fear for patients, however, Icon Dental Center hopes to alleviate that fear in their patients and help as best as they can.
