Originally from New Delhi, India, Jetley moved to the US 5 years ago at the age of 17 to finish college & started working on his craft relentlessly. His latest music videos “Going back to Delhi” and “Saturday” were met with acclaim & he has been garnering a loyal fanbase in New York. “showcases the city & culture of New Delhi, and is a testament to the hip hop movement bubbling underneath. Partnering with producers Triple-A, Dizzy Banko, Eskry & Stillbeatz Jetley has crafted out a distinct sound. His art represents his Indian roots, and is laced with raw lyricism and gritty storytelling. Growing up, Jetley was highly influenced by artists like Nas, Biggie, Eminem and 50 Cent, who opened him to the world of Hip Hop and Rap music. Talking about his style, Jetley states, “I’d describe my music as a reflection of my upbringing, that depicts growing up in the middle of a city as chaotic as Delhi, dealing with family, friends and different pressures around me. It describes the story of an immigrant, figuring it out and being fearless in the pursuit of his craft”.
Jetley’s latest music videos ‘Saturday’ and ‘Going back to Delhi have together racked up over 30,000 views on YouTube and continue to gain popularity. The whole video production quality is remarkable, and is matched in intensity by powerful vocals and songwriting by the young artist.
At present, Jetley is working on his upcoming singles, while performing gigs at music festivals and clubs around New York City.
