Palm Springs, CA, USA – April 8, 2020 – Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 4th Annual Black & White International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in two: Traditional Art and Digital Art & Photography.
For this competition, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography using black & white & the nuanced shades in between. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work in any media.
The Black & White Best in Show winners are Cher Pruys for her acrylic, “Day Break” and John Diephouse for his photograph, “Dew on the Hudson”. Both Cher and John are Fusion Art’s Featured Artists for the month of April 2020 and, as the Best in Show winners, both artists are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s 5th Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2021.
Other award winners include Second Place winners, P.K. Benbow and Gareth Jones. Third Place awards were given to Telagio Baptista and Kevin Kemp. Fourth Place awards were given to Kathy Paulus and Barbara Mierau-Klein. Fifth Place awards were given to Nathalie Beck, Loretta Ana Kaufman and Pablo McCloud.
Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are twelve Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Erica Kyle, Mark Kaufman, Robert Hunter, Kam Tim Lam, Susan McCulley and David Swope.
Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Michelle Woitzel, Nick Dale, Richard Condlyffe, Najiyyah Floyd, Matthew Jackson and Jeb Gaither.
The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.
The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, North Macedonia, Russia and Thailand. Overall the gallery judged 342 entries for the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for the month of April.
Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.
Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions.
