In just a matter of months, the world has come to a standstill. The coronavirus pandemic has not only claimed thousands of lives but has also adversely affected the economy. The situation calls upon everyone to come together in spirit, and help fight the pandemic. In this global fight against the coronavirus pandemic, leading cementing tools manufacturer, Sledgehammer Oil Tools has assumed a crucial role. Headquartered in India with global presence, the cementing equipment pioneer has not only continued to serve its commitments to clients to the best way this time permits, it has also answered the Government’s call of social distancing, and contributed to different stakeholders like the local government, community it operates in and its own employees and their families in different ways.
Established over a decade ago, Sledgehammer Oil Tools enjoys a wide reputation for providing high-quality cementing equipment to the global upstream industry. The company also has a rich history of conducting CSR activities for the benefit of the local communities. As the world struggles against the coronavirus pandemic, Sledgehammer Oil Tools quickly mobilized to aid in containing the spread by issuing guidelines in line with the Government of India’s advisory. The employees have been asked to work-from-home and continue to best serve the industry. Sledgehammer has also recently provided a world-class medical ambulance to the state administration to help those who are affected. The contribution came through MD-Sledgehammer Oil Tools, Mr. Pradeep Mohanty who offered the keys of the ambulance to the Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar. The spirit of “we are in this together” has always been strong in Team Sledgehammer.
In another related project, Sledgehammer Oil Tools is working closely with the Local Government bodies to develop disinfectant booths which will be installed at different points of the city via which locals can walk through and be disinfected. The activity will take only a few seconds per individual and act as a supplement to other preemptive measures like hand-washing.
SledgeHammer is also contributing to a centralised kitchen in the local community where every day 40,000 meals are being cooked for the economically weaker section of society who usually work as daily wage earners.
MD at Sledgehammer Oil Tools, Mr. Pradeep Mohanty said, “Today, we are faced with an ordeal that requires us to be patient, to be resilient and to be kind to each other. At Sledgehammer, we have empowered upstream companies to realize smoother operations and higher profitability over the years. Now at a time like this when world order is threatened, Team Sledgehammer has once again stepped up to help those in need, and empower those who require it the most. We need to come together in this fight and win the war against the coronavirus pandemic. We are also grateful to everyone holding the frontline for us, and I want to assure you that you are not alone. We are in this together.”
