Zuma-G is proud to present his third album. ‘Universe’ is a wonderfully done concept album revolving around one of the last greatest mysteries known to man with each song named for a celestial being or an action one would take while soaring through the universe on Zuma-G’s perfectly composed soundscape.
Zuma-G’s approach to electronic music is more demure than that of electronic artists who have managed to make their way to the mainstream as Vegas staples and Coachella headliners. With Zuma G’s ‘Universe,’ the compositions have more of a refined approach to them. Like audible paintings, each track from “Andromeda” to “Pulsar” to “Orbit” allows the imagination to be encapsulated by sound that works like a painter’s brush creating imagery throughout the listening experience.
Music has always been a staple in Zuma-G’s life. His first memories revolve around a toy drum set he got for Christmas when he was five. Ironically enough, he was later able to figure out any instrument from the piano to the guitar – but never the drums. To this day, they allude him but it hasn’t hurt him in the long run as he’s been able to compose just fine without them since going all-in in 2013. That is the year he joined ASCAP and started to push forward in his career. Since then he’s released three LPs; ‘From a to Z,’ ‘Evolve,’ and ‘Universe’ in April 2020.
