The spokesperson for the school, while announcing the commencement of admission process for the 2020/2021 school year, noted that the K-12, independent and college-preparatory school for students with learning differences is open to accepting all students with learning difficulties including those that have diagnoses such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, twice-exceptional, executive function and/or processing speeds deficits and students who simply thrive best in a smaller, more personalized setting.

Through small classes and personalized instruction, we address each student’s learning profile – allowing students to soar ahead in strength areas while shoring up any areas of need. Each student has an individualized learning plan, and parents receive four parent-teacher conferences per year.”
As part of the curriculum offered at the school, students are exposed to a well-rounded and well-structured curriculum that incorporates strong arts, athletics and extracurricular activities to emphasize student strengths and talents. In addition, students are also offered speech-language and occupational therapy supports -in K-8 if needed-, amongst other supports like school counseling and college counseling.
The Currey Ingram Academy’s boarding facility is available for students in grades 9 through 12, offering 24 hours a day and 7 days a week of fully immersive experience to students. Students who choose to be enrolled in the boarding facility at the school are also guaranteed full access to daytime academic activities and services after school to support their special needs.
