Insurance comparison and education website, Insuranks has released its 2020 research on average car insurance monthly costs. A comprehensive market research study, Insuranks has analyzed the average car insurance cost in all states based on many factors, including vehicle type, driving experience, age, and insurance coverage.
Compiling top car insurance providers and coverage plans, Insuranks calculated the average car insurance cost, per month in all states for 2020, to be $131 per month. However, insurance coverage and car insurance quotes were found to vary individually based on personal ratings. Insuranks took great aim to compare plans and maximize savings, ensuring all drivers have the best quote options and benefits available to them before they hit the road.
Each year, millions of drivers generate car insurance quotes to get the lowest premiums on the market. Focused on balancing cost and insurance coverage considerations, Insuranks found getting minimum liability coverage was a way to keep rates low, as well as was passing on comprehensive and collision coverage and keeping claim limits and coverage at a minimum.
However, this practice carries risks that include having coverage that is not adequate to protect drivers or their loved ones in the event of an accident. Comprehensive coverage that sufficiently protects a driver’s interests in case something happens is a worthwhile investment, and the lowest monthly premiums rarely deliver the protection drivers need or expect on the road.

An in-depth overview of factors, including vehicle type, driving experience, age, and car insurance coverage, are discussed, including their impact on teenage and California drivers.
