Women of Toledo (WoT) is excited to announce our latest program initiative, HerHub!!! HerHub is an online hub that provides information and streamlines access to women-owned local businesses and non-profits. This is the first of its kind in Toledo, OH.
In response to the pandemic and social injustices, HerHub is committed to serving and supporting Toledo’s diverse female business owners and community leaders via our online resources, online networking events, and social media marketing for local women-owned businesses in order for them to sustain during these uncertain times.
Last month we reached out to our affiliates and partners for sponsorship of 5 local black women-owned businesses in an effort to empower and promote their visibility on our directory and all of our social media platforms during a time of racial unrest.
Specifically, the HerHub website provides links to non-profit events and organizations, a comprehensive directory (and map) of female-owned businesses, local authors, volunteer opportunities, and business groups dedicated to mentorship for HerHub members.
By providing this online resource we hope to encourage and build confidence for new women businesses and enhance & elevate the visibility of the existing women’s businesses, organizations, and events through our online event calendar as well.
HerHub is a large, inclusive, comprehensive community of women supporting women financially and educationally. We already have over 100 women business members and 40 local female authors highlighted on our HerHub website!

HerHub was established in 2018, under the governance of Women of Toledo and has evolved with the help of the UN Women’s Empower Women Champions for Change Partnership awarded to HerHub developer Nina Corder in 2017.
