By helping a group of artists you can assist in preventing the wanton killing of majestic African Wildlife

WINDSOR, Canada – June 29, 2015 – Clifford Rosen has created a project to market small to life-size animal sculptures, created by a small group of Southern African artists, to art lovers around the world. These sculptures are made from a variety of media including mahogany wood, colourful beads and metal pieces derived from used oil drums.  The artists utilize whatever material they can procure and then produce the most sublime sculptures that would look good anywhere, either indoors or outdoors. By bringing these art pieces to North America and holding exhibits in New York and Detroit initially, it will allow these poverty-stricken artists the ability to showcase their talent. If the initial North American project is a success,  a website for these artists will be created which would allow people from all over the world the privilege of viewing and purchasing their art.

However, this project has a lot more importance than simply helping a diverse group of artists. Clifford believes that if these artists are able to earn a living from the art that they produce, the financial impact will filter back to the communities from where they originate and will directly influence the choices of the communities.

One of the major means that impoverished African communities have for earning any type of living, is off poaching. Poaching is decimating African wildlife especially Rhino poaching. By giving various talented members from different communities an outlet for their art, it is hoped that the community itself will realize that there are better alternatives to poaching, and will remove the incentive to poach. This would assist in ending the senseless killing of these extraordinary animals.

In addition to this indirect effect on the various communities, the project has as it founding charter the donation of a percentage of all profits earned, from the sale of any piece of the artists work, to RAGE (rhinorage.org)

However, before this project can come to life,  Clifford needs help. That’s why he started a Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $45,000 CAD by July 25, 2015.

To help bring this small group of talented Southern African artists work to the world which in turn would directly and indirectly assist in preventing the senseless killing of majestic African wildlife,  please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered between August 2015 and October 2015.

Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know, that any amount given matters. This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a really special campaign! Help Clifford Rosen and his mission reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this the more support the campaign will receive.
