It was just five years ago, Malan Breton helped to revolutionize the men’s apparel industry by introducing strong pops of colour, in signature fabrics, and cuts that changed the way men looked at their father’s suit. With a strong background in menswear, Breton who began his career in fashion at British heritage brand Turnbull & Asser, launched Malan Breton HOMME.

Malan Breton HOMME has been worn by Keith Carradine, Michael Buble, Sam Witwer, Omar Sharif, Frankie Grande, Paul Wesley, Nolan Gerard – Funk, Ismael Cruz Cordova and Desmond Child, to name only a few.  Malan Breton also designed the wardrobe for NBC’s number one rated game show “Minute to Win It”, his men’s collection has been featured on TV shows like AMC’s “Breaking Bad”, NY1 News, Australia’s Next Top Model, and in over 200,000 press, and media outlets around the world.  Breton has partnered with Fancy Feast, Universal Music, 20th Century Fox, Warner Reprise, The Marilyn Monroe Estate, JTV, Arena, Fox 8 Australia, Taiwan Tourism Bureau, Smithsonian Museums, Sperry Top Sider, Rado Switzerland, and Bravo TV with his own show, simply titled “The Malan Show”. At  New York Men’s Fashion Week, Malan Breton HOMME will present a collection of sportswear, swimwear, suiting, and underwear, that is modern, sleek, and made in comfort fibers like silk, cotton, and bamboo. That lend to the modern lifestyle of the man on the go. Exploring the techniques of wetsuit design, Breton incorporates fusing elements, and finds tradition in the Hakka blue shirts of his homeland, Taiwan.

Malan Breton HOMME will introduce their first collection of eyewear, watches, cufflinks, and skateboards this season. Made of the highest quality elements, brushed metals, Swarovski crystals, sapphire bezels, and enamels that accentuate his philosophy of high style, but continue in the path of total comfort. Giving every man’s summer 2016 wardrobe comfort, and control.

The collection will be presented by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau.

To accentuate the look Breton’s hair partner Ecru New York will create effortless hairstyles that every man can aspire to. For men’s skin Breton brings his beauty partner Bella on Demand to the mix, to give the male models a healthy glowing look. One much like the surfers of Australia’s Manly beach.

The Film has just returned from Cannes after winning the 2015 Best Short Documentary prize at the NYC International Film Festival. The NYCIFF (New York City International Film Festival) announced that it has elected to submit “Malan Breton – A Journey to Taiwan”, to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for 2016 Academy Award consideration.

Malan Breton is the designer and creative director of Malan Breton HOMME. He is an Alumnus of the Juilliard School. Malan Breton was born in Taipei, Taiwan; he currently resides in New York City. Designing since the age of 11. Breton got his start in menswear at the British heritage brand, Turnbull & Asser. Malan Breton, the brand is noted among the top three hundred luxury brands in the world. Ranking top 20 of the top 200 fashion brands in the world, for its social media presence.

In 2015 Malan Breton received the Taiwan Award, an honour given to him by the President of Taiwan. Breton took on the role of film director for the award winning film “Malan Breton – A Journey to Taiwan.” The NYCIFF presented the Award for Best Documentary Film and has elected to submit the film to the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences for The 88th Academy Awards consideration.Malan Breton also won the 2014 European Fashion Council “Eirene” Fashion Award, and the 2014 “Fashion Icon of the Year” award from the UCOF. He was nominated for 2011 WGSN Global Fashion Award, as the designer of the number one rated NBC game show with 14 million weekly viewers “Minute to Win It”. He also became the first designer, in the history of fashion, whose designs were part of a packaging deal with XBOX 360, Nintendo Wii systems, and ZOO for the video game “Minute to Win it”.

From 2008 to 2014 Malan Breton served as a mentor to the Smithsonian – Cooper Hewitt Teen Design Fair. As a mentor Malan Breton has also lectured at Princeton University, and FIT. Malan Breton was the subject of a six part series on Bravo TV titled “The Malan Show”.

As a Philanthropist, Malan Breton has dedicated efforts to amfAR, and Care and Share India (Malan Breton closed the NASDAQ, to bring awareness to this organization).
