Filmmaker Announces Powerful and Emotional Short Film, “Rosethorn”

A short film that hopes to raise awareness for sexually abused children

LOS ANGELES, California – July 20, 2015 – Filmmaker, Giullianna Martinez, has just announced her latest short film—Rosethorn. This impactful short takes on a very serious and tragic topic—sexually abused children. Giullianna and her crew hope this film will raise awareness on this subject. This impactful and emotional short film needs to be made for the masses to see.

Rosethorn is the story of an ambitious doctor determined to help a little girl who has presumably been sexually abused. Child services are saying one thing. Distraught parents  another, with two very different stories doctors are faced with the challenge of figuring out what is wrong with Gaby. Perhaps, the most unconventional methods work best, and that little voice in our head can open doors for healing. However, before this film can be made, Giullianna needs help. That’s why she launched this campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $4,000 by July 30, 2015, and the funds will go toward essential production costs.
