After being recognized by Intel for innovation in healthcare and life sciences with the Intel® Healthcare Solutions Partner of the Year award, Dedicated Computing expanded the Fortris 7400 series of servers, Application Ready Systems specifically designed for high-end computational needs of the life science and healthcare markets.

Waukesha, WI  – Dedicated Computing, a global technology company committed to solving business problems through the design, development and deployment of innovative technology solutions, announced today the expansion of its award-winning Fortris 7400 series of servers. These Application Ready Systems are specifically designed for high-end computational needs of the life science and healthcare markets.

The advanced technology integrated into these compute platforms supports accelerated innovation in genomics by providing healthcare and life science OEMs with the ability to rapidly acquire, analyze, and evaluate data. With the F7441, precision treatment regimens can be developed that positively affect the ability to provide premium quality, comprehensive medical care while increasing efficiency and reducing costs.

The F7441 platform supports multiple high speed storage and expansion configurations. Utilizing the latest Intel® Xeon® family of processors, this high density, modular, and scalable compute server significantly reduces analysis times, enabling shorter runtimes, to meet demanding data acquisition requirements.

With this technology, Dedicated Computing was recently recognized by Intel Corporation for innovation in healthcare and life sciences by receiving the Intel® Healthcare Solutions Partner of the Year award.

“Today’s healthcare environments are incredibly complex and dynamic,” said Bilal Khan, VP and CTO, Dedicated Computing. “Service disruptions, application slow-downs, and security and compliance issues need to be addressed. Our integrated solutions for the life sciences and healthcare industry improves the technology of our customers’ leading edge medical diagnostics systems and extends their competitive advantages.”

Last year, in response to its growing demand from the healthcare industry, Dedicated Computing introduced its F6341. The F6341 is based on the Intel® processor E5-2600 v2 family and features the Intel® Server Board S2600CP. It is a convertible server / workstation employing high bandwidth PCI Express for data acquisition and storage options. The F6341 features both high performance RAID arrays of fast solid state and enterprise class hard drives. This server improves up-time and reduces mean-time-to-repair through redundant / hot swap high-efficiency power supply modules and cooling fans.
