In 2015, the number of choices in this area is set to expand with the recent announcement of Main Street Public House restaurant opening on Main Street in downtown Columbia in early December. The new eatery will showcase refined, casual dining options along with premium pizza. “Our focus will be to address the needs of a diverse population within this area,” commented Jimmy Latulipe, owner of the restaurant. “We have a cross section of young and older professionals as well as college students. Our goal is provide quality offerings to appeal to all of these demographics. We will be offering lunch, dinner, happy hour and live entertainment so our goal is to be the go to spot in this area.”
Latulipe is no stranger to restaurant success and exceeding diner expectations. In addition to Main Street Public House, he is also the owner of King Street Public House in downtown Charleston, SC. King Street Public House has been well received in Charleston for quality, casual dining. The new Columbia location will deliver an identical menu and dining experience with the addition of New York Style Brick Oven pizza.
Feedback about the new restaurant coming to Main Street has been overwhelmingly positive.
