World-renowned corporate speaker and human performance coach, Jim Madrid, is on the Gold Coast this week, presenting at the Beneficium Group’s Resort and Management Conference on 28 and 29 July at the QT Hotel in Surfers Paradise.

Specialising in human performance improvement, Mr Madrid’s expertise in performance psychology will come to the fore during the two-day Beneficium conference – the parent company of Gold Coast-based vacation companies Classic Holidays and DAE.

Classic Holidays’ CEO and Beneficium Chairman, Ramy Filo, said having the Californian expert on the Gold Coast to facilitate the conference was timely given the group’s newly revised corporate structure.

“We’re pleased to welcome Jim not only to our conference, but also to the Gold Coast as unique destination for tourism and business,” said Mr Filo.

“In the last 12 months, we’ve streamlined our group’s operations across multiple services channels and multi-national businesses to operate as a more effective corporation with a singular purpose – delivering outstanding customer satisfaction within the leisure industry.

“Jim’s insights into harnessing the collective energy and efficacy within the workplace will be invaluable for our group of companies moving forward. His strategies around attitude and thinking differently are simple, but incredibly powerful in driving corporate change and growth.”

With a career spanning three decades, Mr Madrid has become a sought-after performance advisor, working with corporations such as Boeing, Mercedes Benz, Paramount Studios, and Coldwell Banker, sporting organisations from the Seattle Seahawks (NFL) and Seattle Sounders (MLS) to the Utah Jazz (NBA), as well as mentoring professional and amateur athletes.

The Beneficium Group employs close to 1,000 staff worldwide, with headquarters at Varsity Lakes on the Gold Coast.
