The recently launched crowdfunding campaign to bring to life tiny mythological 3D skeleton puzzles that can be built with tweezers and glue was well received by generous online fans. The campaign quickly achieved and surpassed its initial funding goal of $1,000 USD, and is now en route to achieving the ultimate stretch goal of $10,000 by Fri, Aug 21 2015.
As the deadline approaches, Everything Tiny is putting the finishing touches on a line of 3D puzzles that can be built to form tiny skeletons of humanoid mythological creatures including a Minotaur, Mermaid, Cyclops, Medusa, and Angel skeletons. The concept of the new product line came from Everything Tiny’s prior success with the Tiny Human skeleton line of 3D puzzles and dinosaur models.
Herbert Hoover, the creator of the Tiny Monsters Kickstarter campaign explained: “Since our successful Tiny Human Kickstarter, we’ve been working on more humanoid skeletons for your enjoyment. If you haven’t seen our kits before, they come with laser cut parts (for the Tiny Human, it has 42 bones) that pop out with tweezers, so there’s no cutting involved. Follow the instructions and assemble the bones into your own tiny skeleton.”
The skeleton puzzle kits come with everything the builder might need to complete and display their 3D skeleton, including a glass display dome and a wood base. The prototypes for the new line of puzzles have been completed, and the illustrations for the instructions are in progress. Upon successful completion of the crowdfunding campaign, the rewards will be sent out without delay. The company is currently developing 3D instructions that will make it possible to view each step of the build from all angles, and zoom in to better see how parts fit together.
The campaign also features some fully assembled Tinysaur rewards. Some of these models are one-of-a-kind prototypes, and are personally built by the project creator. Assembled skeletons are something the company has never offered before.
The creators at Everything Tiny are hoping that fans will continue to pledge their support to the campaign as it nears its second stretch goal: unlocking a special reward, at no additional charge, for pledges of $24 USD or more. The stretch goal reward will be kept secret until delivery in January or February. The creators have never offered anything like this reward before. The stretch rewards will be shipped separately so regular reward fulfillment will not be delayed.
