LONDON, United Kingdom – August 5, 2015 – A group of talented filmmakers just announced their new short film, a gripping drama called, “Father of Man.” This touching tale follows a young writer, Alex Jacobs, on the verge of starting a family and launching his career. Yet, this is a feat he’s unable to achieve due to his overbearing father’s lifelong attitude of perpetually putting him down, destroying his self-esteem and making him feel worthless.
Throughout the story Alex comes face to face with a life changing decision, whether to let his father go or not. The thematic core of the short film explores the complex and sometimes complicated effects parental influence has on who and what their children become. However, before this film can be seen, these filmmakers need help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise £5,000 by September 6, 2015. The funds raised will go toward production costs, marketing, and film festival fees.
To help bring this gripping movie to life, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered between September 2015 and December 2015.
Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference, and this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special campaign! Help “Father of Man” reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
