Thane, Maharashtra – 11th August – iBtions Institute is set to bring in a paradigm shift in the Gaming and Animation education sector in India. The Institute is here with a new approach to Game development, Animation and Mobile application development. The maiden branch in Thane West, opened its doors for the first batch of students in the month of June and has already garnered much appreciation for its modules and teaching methods.

iBtions Institute has been founded by Mr. Chintan Dave, an entrepreneur, technology enthusiast, and the CEO of iBtions Infologies, a company that has been providing end to end technological solutions for businesses across the globe. When asked about the need for a training platform amidst the existing competition by bigger players, Chintan elaborated, “I have been a guest lecturer and a panelist for several such institutes in the past and most of my inspiration for the iBtions Institute was derived from the experiences and interactions I had there with the students. Coming from the industry itself, it was easier to adjudge if these students could deliver what the industry expected out of them. Also, when we recruit candidates we are stuck at a huge gap between what they have learnt as a part of their academics and what the industry expects from them. This is how iBtions Institute was conceptualized, to offer courses that integrate the expertise of industry doyens and provide internships during the course term for a well crafted career.” He further emphasized, “We emphasize on internships. Expertise in technology cannot be achieved by mere academics. Some of our long term courses include minimum 6 months of internship.”

The Institute offers certification in cartooning and ‘comic designing’.  Courses include but are not limited to VFX editing, all animation and 3D designing courses, particle effects, motion graphics, sound editing and Augmented Reality. Perceived as the technology of the future, Augmented Reality is making its way in every industry. Yet very few institutes in India are known to be gearing up for courses in Augmented Reality.

Chintan added, “Augmented Reality is going to change the way we live. It will soon become a part of our everyday life. Companies in every industry are spending big bucks to adopt augmented reality. However the gap will arise in talent pool to meet this demand. We staunchly believe that if aspiring students & professionals are given the right training platforms and exposure to international standards, India has the most promising talent pool.”

The infrastructure at iBtions Institute is fully equipped with latest technologies and offers the perfect ambience for students to explore their creativity and put their full potential to use as game designers, animators and application developers. A special Art room and a huge practice Lab are a part of the Institute so that students can improve and nurture their artistic skills such as painting, sketching as well as get brilliant new ideas while at it.

The ambience of the Institute and the teaching style is perfect for passionate brains to bring out their inner genius with endless new ideas constantly being encouraged and supported by the expert Faculty. They desire to ingrain the fundamentals of selected courses, in order to strengthen every student for a successful future. The Faculty, meticulously give one on one attention to individual students to develop their art style, assignments and project portfolio up to an international production level. Their regular interaction with production work and internships with Live projects, help in infusing new technology, innovations and ideas from around the world. Moreover, the teaching style is different from the typical blackboard to notebook schools. Focus is on real-time experience that produces true professionals.
