David Myers is Crowdfunding a trade-show booth to demonstrate his new product. The trade show is ITC USA 2015 (International Telemetry Conference), Oct 26 – Oct 29, at Bally’s in Las Vegas. Total cost is $8000.00, for booth rent, room rent, posters/fliers/advertising. He wants to illustrate how to acquire, telemetry data and how to process it with fewer hardware parts. TMoIP stands for Telemetry over IP.
“PCs are becoming harder to find with more than one spare PCI or PCIe slot in them to add your particular type of card to get data into a form the PC can use. Couple that with the various Windows drivers and their issues, multiple cards, sharing interrupts, and it makes for a fun game trying to find the right PC for the right card from the right vendor,” says Meyer. “One solution is to go back to the early ‘90s and use stand-alone parts to get the data from RF into a form the PC can use. Some vendors are doing it, but not many, yet.”
When you give to this project, the perks include a USB thumb drive with the TMoIP logo, A thank you on the website, and a super-honorable thank you.
