CHICAGO, Illinois – August 19, 2015 – Talented film student at Columbia College Chicago, Alex Lubin, has just announced his new, short film, “Portrait of a Man.” The film follows Ryan, a very smart, but modest janitor at an art museum, who falls in love with a painting. At its core, the film is about what love can do to someone. The viewers will see the crazy things it makes Ryan do. He grows on his journey as he learns how to accept his past so he can move forward to the future. It’s a comedy, drama, and romance rolled into one.
“Portrait of a Man” has a theme of art and love. Art, and film, in particular, is just another thing that can play with emotions. Films make people laugh; they make people cry, they manipulate people to relate to the characters and understand what they’re feeling. So, don’t miss the opportunity to back this aspiring filmmaker and help him bring his work to life. However, before this film can be made, Alex needs help. That’s why he launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $4,000 by September 16, 2015. The funds raised will go towards the making of this short film, which include props, costumes, and locations.
To help bring this short to life, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered between September 2015 and January 2016.
Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference, and this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special campaign! Help “Portrait of a Man” reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
