How to Support Military Families this 9/11? Shared

ORLANDO, FL – 09 Sep, 2015 – Better known for their wings, the Winghouse Restaurants on September 11th will be raising money to help support military families in need. The popular restaurant chain will donate $1 for every alcoholic beverage purchased during happy hour between 4-8PM this Friday, September 11th.

Even those who cannot attend can help raise money via social media during the event by hashtagging #HappyHourforHeroes or tweeting @KersWinghouse or @USACaresOrg. For every social media reach, a tweet, hashtag, like or follow, local sponsors will donate to the cause on their behalf.

“We want to encourage everyone to come out, especially our military, and see all the support their local community is giving them,” says Winghouse Director of Marketing, Arianna Marshall. “The goal is to raise as much money for our military families but to also show our support for all they have done since 9/11,” states event organizer, Aaron Mighty.

Winghouse has 24 locations with all participating in the happy hour event on 9/11 including the Orlando, Lakeland, Tampa, Daytona Beach and Gainesville areas.
