LANCASTER, Massachusetts – September 17, 2015 – Guitar-Jo, an incredible, new electric guitar accessory to emulate a banjo, was recently announced. This sophisticated, functional device mounts to the body of the electric guitar using micro-suction technology, providing a secure grip and easy means of attaching or removing it. The dampeners apply pressure to the strings, creating a banjo twang when picked or strummed. Finally, the adjusters can be moved in and out to control the height of the dampeners. A simple, easy-to-use device to capture that banjo sound on an electric guitar.
The current model is designed for electric guitars that have a flat surface underneath the strings, such as a Telecaster or a Fender/Squier Stratocaster. However, before this innovative accessory can come to the market, Guitar-Jo needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project was to raise $2,900 by September 25, 2015. However, they’ve already exceeded that goal, earning over $5,800. But the additional donations still go towards materials, equipment, and other costs.
To help bring this new guitar accessory to market, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered between October 2015 and January 2016.
Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference, and this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special campaign! Help Guitar-Jo reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
