The 37th Chicago Jazz Festival concluded Sunday night at Millennium Park with a rare performance by the Experimental Band led by pianist Muhal Richard Abrams, and in its four-day run the annual event highlighted and reinforced several important trends in jazz. This year, in Millennium Park, audience might have noticed that there is a new kind of vehicle – electric scooter shuttling in the hall, helping committee official to distribute flyers and monitor the order in site.
Known for its artistic creativity, the Chicago Jazz Festival is a favorite Labor Day Weekend tradition. It promotes awareness and appreciation for all forms of jazz through free, quality live musical performance. Since 1979, the festival’s mission is to showcase Chicago’s vast jazz talent alongside national and international artists to encourage and educate a jazz audience of all ages. It is regarded as one of the most significant art event in Chicago, which to some extent, represents Chicago’s music culture and history and people in or out of the city will come to enjoy such a wonderful show. Airwheel self balancing electric scooter, of course, cannot miss it.
As a new type of promotion, electric scooter is gradually used in distributing flyers by companies or organizations. The traditional way is to walk to distribute, however, considering the cost, novelty and efficiency, intelligent electric scooterseems a better choice for propaganda, which attract a dramatic attention during the propaganda. Just riding one scooter, only one worker is able to cover the half hall, which could improve the efficiency. Besides, imagining that there is one team riding an electric self-balancing scooter personally, how exciting and novel the scene is.
Chicago Jazz Music Festival is just a beginning, Airwheel promises to show itself in more art festivals, leading a fashionable propaganda way. Due to its success this year, it has more motivation to better itself in the soon future.
