This invigorating outdoor experience is currently recognized as one of the most impactful environments for young men to go through an intensive inpatient treatment program for recovery.
With over 30 years of experience dealing with challenged young men from the ages of 14 to 24 years of age who suffer from substance abuse, an outdoor program is available that has a history of success in addressing their recovery needs.

Utilizing the restorative effects of challenging outdoor experiences, managed by a specialized staff of trained wilderness instructors and addiction counselors, young men are being returned to lives of health and sobriety. As the first and only 30-day addiction treatment program that incorporates a wilderness experience with drug and alcohol treatment; this combination has been extremely powerful in impacting the lives of young men and teens.

Located on a 4,000 acre, working cattle ranch, the youth drug and alcohol treatment facility originally functioned as a dude ranch from 1924 to 1970. This true ranch atmosphere maintains fifty percent of its original log buildings, contributing to the rustic, outdoor atmosphere that has appealed to young men since its first patients were admitted in 1983. The grounds include access to a fishing creek, outdoor group therapy structures, Frisbee golf course, miles of cross country skiing trails and access to Serenity Falls. This invigorating outdoor experience is currently recognized as one of the most impactful environments for young men to go through an intensive inpatient treatment program for recovery.

A family-owned 60-day, inpatient chemical dependency addiction treatment facility, our center has helped over 3000 young men and teens rediscover a chemical-free approach to their lives. Each patient undergoes a thorough evaluation to determine the most effective treatment approach, family and individual counseling, and assistance with a personal 12-step program. Through psycho-education, personal service work, equine therapy and the concerted efforts of a team of licensed staff members experienced with drug and alcohol counseling; each teen or young man is offered the individualized attention he may need to discover a new and healthy way of dealing with his daily challenges.

Recognizing that chemical dependency can be a family problem, as well as an individual one; our 4-1/2 day family program provides addiction counselors to work closely with all family members to help ensure a healthy outcome. The family is kept abreast of all addiction treatment planning, along with progress notes on a weekly basis.  Our licensed addiction treatment counselors are available with medically supervised assistance, individual and group counseling opportunities and invigorating outdoor experiences to help assist each young man in restoring balance in his life and harmony with his family members.
