This was noted by a senior representative of the company at a briefing held recently to announce the company’s expanded R&D focus.
As a result of this fresh impetus of capital spending on components like the 1064nm High Power Isolator, 1064nm High Power Collimated Free-space Beam Output Isolator, High Power Fiber Collimator and the Pump Laser Protector, company management believes that DK Photonics will cement its leadership position in an already highly competitive market.
Pointing to its ever popular Pump Laser Protector, which is available both as Multi-Mode and Single-Mode offerings, the expert noted that this device has been built as a passive component which enables highest levels of transmission from a discrete fiber-coupled pump laser diode. Its proprietary design prevents parasitic or unwanted signals, around the centre wavelength of the laser, from being reflected back into the laser.
