W. David Medina Ph.D., owner of Medina Kenpo Karate in Springfield, Pennsylvania became an Amazon Bestselling Author for the second time with his book, Grandmaster Frank Trejo. The book reached No. 1 in the Kindle store for Short Reads in Sports & Outdoors and Biographies & Memoirs. The book also reached No. 3 in Martial Arts.
Medina interviewed Grandmaster Frank Trejo on a variety of topics including how Grandmaster Trejo started in the martial arts, what his current view of the martial arts world is and mistakes that all martial artists can avoid.
Medina enlisted the help of his two daughters, Mackenzie Medina and Riley Medina in writing the book.

A native of Springfield, Pennsylvania, W. David Medina has been training and teaching martial arts for over 35 years. He started training at the age of 10 and began competing and coaching shortly after. He was inducted into the USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame four times, and he is also an Honors Graduate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Medina founded his karate school in 1999. He also specializes in teaching children on the autism spectrum and providing support for siblings of special needs families.
