Budget Self Storage partners with Home Instead Senior Care to collect Christmas gifts for the elderly in need and isolated in our communities.

Budget Self Storage is proud to partner with Home Instead Senior Care and their national Holiday program called “Be a Santa to a Senior®”.  The initiative is designed to bring smiles and joy to the elderly who might not have a pleasant holiday as a result of social isolation or financial limitations.

The winter holidays can be a depressing time for seniors, with many lonely and impoverished, who will not experience a feast with family or a beautiful Christmas tree. This public service program impacts the community and our residents by providing holiday cheer and giving gifts to those financially needy or lonely.

Marketing Coordinator, Robin Emanuel for Budget Self Storage said “I learned about this great program from Ray Roel the Community Service Representative for the Tampa and Brandon Home Instead Senior Care. I knew this was a great opportunity for Budget Self Storage to bring awareness and to serve our seniors in our community.  There are many great organizations reaching the needs of children and families during this season but not for our seniors.   We recognized the need and four of our locations jumped on board to help.  Because Seniors Need Santa Too!”

Want to “Be a Santa to a Senior” and help bring a smile to seniors by providing a much needed Christmas gift? The local Home Instead Senior Care Teams have selected gift item suggestions and written them on ornaments for each senior.   Budget Self Storage has four of their locations across the Tampa Bay area from Sarasota to Tampa participating in the “Be a Santa to a Senior “Program”.   You can stop in, select an ornament, purchase the item requested, and return to Budget Self Storage by December 10th.  The gifts will be delivered to needy seniors in these areas.

Stop in at the following Budget locations: Fruitville Rd, Sarasota, Cortez Rd, Manatee, Bloomindale Ave., Brandon and Gunn Hwy, Tampa. Budget thanks the locally owned and operated “Home Instead Senior Care” locations in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Brandan/Tampa for their efforts in this program.
