MILAN, Italy – December 03, 2015 – MyKnife, an incredible, new software to design custom chef knives, was recently announced. This software allows users to design their own customized knives, which are then handcrafted in Italy before being sent to their front door! MyKnife puts users in touch with the masterful handcrafting of the sharpest knife artisans. Each user draft is then sent directly to the manufacturer, who deals with the laser engraving and cutting, while an expert artisan manually crafts the handle and, more importantly, the knife’s specific cutting angle. Last but not least, the metal is tempered and quenched in an atmospherically controlled environment before being certified and shipped.
Project MyKnife stems from an experimental research project on the technological progress mankind has undergone from our hominid ancestors to today. MyKnife will provide the best cooking experiences that will last a lifetime. Finally, a tool with which people will have an empathic relationship with. The knife is the most important tool in any kitchen, and they want people to design their own handmade amazing knife at an honest price. However, before everyone can use this software and design their custom knives, MyKnife needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $50,000 by January 2, 2016. The funds raised will go towards their very first production run, and the software production, ensuring the project’s successful launch.
To help bring this innovative software to market, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered between January 2016 and November 2016.
Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference, and this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special campaign! Help MyKnife reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
(We are selling my thesis knife’s shape Lolita as a real object then we have also already started the coding process, the software we’ll be ready and uploaded around the third week of December on our web www.myknife.it)
