Dedicated Computing, a global technology company committed to solving business problems through the design, development and deployment of innovative technology solutions, is announcing the release of the Fortris 7500 during I/ITSEC 2015. Dedicated Computing developed the Fortris 7500 to address the lifecycle and security needs of the training and simulation market along with the overarching need to support multiple graphic cards in a rack-dense configuration.

As an expansion of their training and simulation offerings, Dedicated Computing designed the Fortris 7500 specifically for demanding high-density multi-display graphics applications.  Like all of Dedicated Computing’s training and simulation solutions, the Fortris 7500 is designed to meet the demand for reliable and high performing solutions that improve the end user’s experience.

The Fortris 7500, unlike alternate options currently in the market, is a long lifecycle, rack-mount convertible platform featuring dual Intel® Xeon™ E5-2600 v3 processors, DDR4 memory, and is capable of supporting up to (4) double-width graphics cards. Each graphic card is allowed its own full-bandwidth PCIe x16 slot.

“Our ability to support the training and simulation industry’s immediate need to have multiple graphic cards in a rack-dense configuration was a challenge that we were ready to meet,” stated Mike Pape, Director of Training and Simulation Solutions, Dedicated Computing, “Our goal was, not only, to tackle the lifecycle and security needs of training and simulation but, also to be able to provide it through a desirable condensed configuration.”

The Fortris 7500 platform is customizable with an extended lifecycle embedded operating system, enhanced security features and is enabled for remote monitoring and management. These advanced capabilities enable real-time monitoring of simulator usage and data collection, system resource utilization and component health, and remote support and deployment of software updates.

Dedicated Computing representatives are on hand to discuss features of the Fortris 7500 during I/ITSEC at booth number 2208.
