Sunrise, FL – December 28th, 2015 – Fabelli Group recently acquired a warehouse in Sunrise, Florida, allowing the wholesaler of Italian furniture to expand its operations into this contemporary market.
With new headquarters in South Florida, Fabelli will use the warehouse as a distribution point for shipping their products to U.S. furniture dealers, particularly on the East Coast, across Florida and in parts of Texas. Prior to acquiring the 13,000 square foot facility at 5150 NW 109 Ave, Sunrise, Fl 33351, the European-made case goods and leather beds manufacturer sold only direct containers to furniture dealers.
The Fabelli Group is the sister company of Italian furniture manufacturer DomusArredi, a global leader in the manufacture of fine European-style contemporary furniture.
The new warehouse in South Florida will allow Fabelli to expand into a market that to date has been cornered by Chinese importers. Although the warehouse will serve as a distribution point for several states, Florida furniture dealers will have the biggest advantage. There is a real need for European made products in Florida due to its large share of international consumers, demanding high quality products; Fabelli will deliver just that.
“Our Sunrise warehouse will make it even easier for us to maintain a competitive edge over Asian furniture companies by offering to our U.S. dealer partners unique designs and higher quality furniture that is built to last,” said Alberto Ghiandoni, owner of sister company Domus Arredi and Vice President of Fabelli Group. “We sell direct from the factory to our retail partners, allowing them to offer gorgeous Italian furniture to consumers that are priced within reach.”
Through the warehouse in Sunrise, Fabelli will stock a wide range of furniture styles and color options. Shipping is quick and convenient, with an in-home delivery program available to furniture dealers in South Florida. This is an added service that retailers love; “In-home delivery service reduces damages and service calls, and eliminates the extra work load for dealers to pick up the merchandise and re-deliver it to their customers.
As an added perk, dealers who stock Fabelli’s furniture have the option to special order beds in up to 25 different colors and materials, with faster delivery available.
The company creates industry leading design and product development capabilities comprised of highly experienced internal designers and independent designers. Part of its rapid growth is attributed to creating exclusive bed designs for container buyers.
The Fabelli Group recently also leased showroom space in the Design Center at the upcoming IHFC, to be held next April 16 to 20 in High Point, N.C. At the show, Fabelli will introduce its entire furniture line.
Fabelli has ambitious growth plans in the U.S. market and is currently expanding its sales rep force.
