Ace designer Archana Kochhar will make her creations available online for the first time via the ethnic online marketplace Craftsvilla.
The online shopping store for saris, salwar suits, lehengas, accessories, home decor and other ethnic products has collaborated with Kochhar for an exclusive range of ethnic wear comprising anarkalis and salwar suits.
Founded in 2011 by Manoj Gupta and Monica Gupta, Mumbai-based Craftsvilla is India’s largest online shopping store for sarees, salwar suits, lehengas, jewellery, home decor and other ethnic products. The company’s vision is to take societies back to their roots and help them discover their ethnic legacy. With over 25,000 sellers from across India, Craftsvilla.com has close to 3.5 million products online across categories including, clothing, handicrafts, jewellery and art among others. The company is funded by globally renowned venture capital funds including Sequoia Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Global Founders Capital and Apoletto.
“Archana is known for her global design sensibilities and has been showcasing her collection on Indian and international runways for over a decade. From pret to couture, she has been designing innovatively styled and draped lehengas, saris, gowns, anarkalis. Our association is a step towards bringing her creations to the audience,” Manoj Gupta, founder and CEO of Craftsvilla.com, said in a statement.
Kochhar said that with the collaboration, “we take one more step towards reaching out to an audience who want to wear my creations without feeling burdened by the price tag as the range is stylish yet not unaffordable”.
Priced from Rs.15,000 onwards, the collection will be available from next week.
