Qiaohou Miracle Essence Launches World’s First Drinkable Cosmetic

SINGAPORE  Qiaohou announced today that it is launching Qiaohou Miracle Essence, the world’s first drinkable cosmetic. This breakthrough beauty product uses the ancient Chinese tradition of edible birds’ nests as a key ingredient for. Qiaohou is making the cosmetic based on their experience in the production of edible birds’ nests, a Chinese culinary delicacy for more than 2000 years. In contrast to virtually every other cosmetic product on the market today, Qiaohou Miracle Essence is completely free from synthetic chemicals, Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs), and other harmful pollutants and personal health hazards.

The company has developed a manufacturing process that takes the edible birds’ nests of the Swiftlet bird and adapts them for cosmetic, rather than culinary use. While the gourmet edible birds’ nests often cost thousands of dollars per kilogram, the all-natural extract used in Qiaohou Miracle Essence is projected to cost users about US $2.47 per day. The manufacturing process has been certified by the Singapore’s regulatory agency as well as FDA, GMP, HACCP, HALAL, ISO9001 and ISO22000.

The product is designed to offer consumers an alternative to commercial, synthetic cosmetics, which are linked to cancer deaths and widespread environmental pollution, as found with plastic micro beads. According to The Guardian, the average woman applies 168 chemicals every day. Qiaohou is a family business with more than three generations of sustainable farming of edible birds’ nests. Qiaohou has secured distributors for the product in Taiwan, Japan and other areas of Southeast Asia.
