A bucket-list worthy, glamping (glamorous camping) experience unlike anything else!

MARLBOROUGH, New Zealand – January 14, 2016 – Suryanama, an exciting, beautiful camping experience in New Zealand, was recently announced. ‘Suryanama’ is the most ancient written word of all the known words for describing the sun. The sunlight is stunning in New Zealand. Whether that sunlight is filtered through Canvas, or fern tree canopy or bounced in arrays of light off the water. One’s camping experience is always imbued with the mood of the sun, and this is what does one so much good. Ever heard of Glamping, (Glamorous Camping)? It’s the next big thing! Going offline, even for 48 hours, is truly the new luxury.

Think pillow top, queen beds with fine organic linen, assuring campers late morning lie-ins, perhaps listening to the native bird song outside and watching leaf-shadow pattern-play on canvas above their head. It’s a quintessential New Zealand adventure, for those looking for an escape of a lifetime. This property will suit two separate and private five-meter diameter bell camps, a whole 20square meters or 215 square foot. Also, a third camp will be available using a super gorgeous retro Pop-Up camper with the budget conscious traveler in mind. Each camp will be unique in style and each surrounded by birdsong, lush greenery, and tranquility.

Imagine a quiet country lane leads campers there, a sunny clearing between swathes of green. Surrounding them are native trees and ferns, a track takes them in. As they emerge from the forest they come to a sheer rock crevice covered in mosses. It is surreal by night, lit with glow-worms. Further on is their own crystal clear river perfect for swimming and exploring. This river is steeped in the 1800’s Gold Rush history. The river and soil still turns up implements from the era. This incredible site is set in a secluded valley that feels like a world of its’ own but is in fact only 15-30 minutes stunning drive to several friendly towns to explore and shop and dine. There are easy hiking tracks just a short distance away. There are quiet lanes perfect for relaxed cycling, and perhaps they’ll meet a friendly valley inhabitant for a chat.

Not to mention this is the heart of wine country. Check out the vineyards on an easy day trip from here, and then enjoy a glass of fine wine while watching solar faerie lights come on, as dusk falls. However, before anyone can enjoy this glamorous, camping experience, Suryanama needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $110,000 NZD by March 2, 2016. The funds raised will go towards the purchase of the property, building and camping consent permits, upgrading water supply with increased storage and UV water treatment as per local legislation for camping accommodation. It will also go to path building work in order to better access river and stream and glow-worm grotto, Belle tents plus site preparation, re-canvasing of pop-up camper, interior furnishings, exterior furniture, and many other accommodations and items.

To help bring this incredible camping experience to life, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered between March 2016 and December 2016.

Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference, and this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special campaign! Help Suryanama reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
