MANHATTAN, Kansas – January 18, 2016 – “Miss Wisenheimer and the Aliens,” an exciting, new science fiction film, was recently announced by Epistrophy Pictures. This movie will blow the minds of audience members everywhere. It’s exciting and funny, but mostly it’s going to make people realize how amazing the universe is. It will inspire them to dream about what other gobsmacking things are out in the cosmos. On top of all that, it’s about two really cool characters who obviously love each other, but don’t know it themselves. Oh, and the technobabble is beyond Star Trek TNG genius. This is great science fiction for people who actually like to have science in their sci-fi! Who wouldn’t enjoy a film with the tagline, “What do rock star saints know about finding the aliens?” The images are striking, the writing is brilliant, the acting superb, the direction inspired, the music dynamic, and the ending supremely surprising. The trailer is available here.
“Miss Wisenheimer and the Aliens” is about humanity’s golden age when, although space travel is as easy as opening a window, no alien intelligence has ever been discovered. This has resulted in a societal upshift in Christianity because people believe that only God could have created a coperniverse just for human habitation. Hal Dace did most of the work on the trailer, but he also did get a lot of help from various lovely people. He wrote the original story but Lancer Kind co-wrote the screenplay with him. Kind deserves most of the credit for the brilliant script that resulted. Dace played Harold Babbage’s voice and all of the motion capture performances. Here are the other voices: Elena Kolkutova is Zipporah Weisenbaum, David Barnard is Rosh, LaToy Burrell is Deborah, Daniel Roca is the robot, and Bob Fleener is the narrator (they’re hoping he’ll play a character in the feature too). Dace did most of the film production work but his wife Helena Liu also helped as a producer and technician. Rob de Wit helped out with some of the modeling. However, before this awesome, science fiction film can be made, Epistrophy Pictures needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $822,996 by February 8, 2016. The funds raised will go towards productions costs, such as paying for the animation and rendering.
To help bring this exciting, mind-blowing movie to life, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered by August 2017.
Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference, and this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special campaign! Help Epistrophy Pictures reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
