BROOKLYN, New York – January 20, 2016 – “I am Robot,” an exciting, futuristic science fiction film, was recently announced. The film is set in the future of 2060, and the world has become even more robotized and computerized. People are all plugged into the big system, and their lives are being controlled. This is at a time when human and robot are alike, so it’s hard to tell them apart. Leaving “I am Robot” to ask, who is human? Who is not? And What it is to be human? To see pictures from the movie, including the cast and the actors in the film, click here. They are all artists, real people, real lives, and true characters.
However, before this incredible, science fiction movie can be made, these filmmakers need help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $5,000 by March 14, 2016. The funds will be used for editing purposes. It will require a lot of editing and combining visuals to make a realistic, futuristic film. They will be making lots of molds and plaster casts of faces and body parts for the robots and special effects. Special paints will be needed for coloring, wiring, and plastic tubing. They will also need to get stock footage for certain scenes in the film that cannot be shot, like filming in the desert. To help bring this exciting, new film to life, please visit the Kickstarter campaign or click here. Perks will be delivered between March 2016 and August 2017.
Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal, which means if the campaign does not reach the funding goal then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference, and this is an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special campaign! Help “I am Robot” reach the goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
