Menomonee Falls, Wis. – The new streaming TV service on the scene, VIDGO, made their announcement at CES 2016. Slated to launch in the first half of 2016, VIDGO promises to offer the most live TV and on-demand channels, including sports, local content, premium and international programming. Similar to other streaming services, subscribers will be able to watch content on Smart TVs, computers and mobile devices.
Many consumers enjoy internet streaming services because of their ease-of-use, watch-anywhere capability and value. Where predecessors to VIDGO fall short is their limited amount of content and no live linear TV option.
VIDGO hopes to bring together the best of both worlds: More live TV channels and video-on-demand content than any other streaming service provides for one, simple monthly price – no contracts, no equipment fees, no credit checks.
“VIDGO is the lowest cost solution to deliver the most expansive catalog of live linear television and VOD to all devices and connected televisions,” said Robert Kostensky, VIDGO President and co-founder.
VIDGO will launch in 15 markets in the United States in the first half of 2016. Full U.S. coverage by the end of 2016. VIDGO will offer three packages, all of which include streaming on multiple devices simultaneously.
