Cedar Falls, IA – On January 15 2016, Tammirae Neuendorf launched a Kickstarter campaign for In the Ball, the fastest, easiest and safest way to get an autograph from your favorite baseball player.
“It all started when an autograph signing session went horribly wrong,” explains founder Andy Huffman, “A young fan tossed a baseball and pen to his favorite baseball player for an autograph. The player signed and tossed the ball back to the boy, followed by the pen. The pen almost nailed the boy right in the eye.”
This inspired the idea for In the Ball – a revolutionary baseball where the pen and ball are ONE. You simply toss it, they pop it, they sign it and the pen goes back in the ball. The baseball is then tossed back to the fan.
In the Ball has been in development for over five years, with the team working tirelessly to build a strong business around this product. In addition to selling In the Ball on their website, they also offer In the Ball as fundraisers to sports leagues, teams, and other organizations. These unique, baseball-themed items are fun to sell, AND there’s even a prize/incentive program to encourage members to sell more!
“We have the right team in place to support the idea man behind this innovative concept – Andy Huffman,” says the team, “From manufacturing and marketing to sales and support, we are ready to go. With your support we will be able to ramp up production, order more baseballs and more patent pending inserts, and expand our distribution channels.”
In exchange for pledging to the project, backers can gain access to a variety of rewards including an ITB sticker for $5, an official In the Ball baseball for $25, and more! Backers can also pledge $50 for an official In the Ball baseball and a ITB Kickstarter backer hat or $150 for a Gold Edition, limited run collector’s ball with a numbered collector’s certificate (only 100 will ever be made!).
