Made from cherry wood, an environmental-friendly alternative to other wood products, the bricks are designed for all kinds of color application. Why Makers Bricks? Well, they are exactly that, one hundred percent precision crafted from cherry wood. They set these machines to craft an assortment of styles to provide limitless builds and truly create a more sustainable building toy with heirloom quality.

The use of this wood engages a new medium that can be stained, painted, or used with markers to unlock limitless possibilities in creativeness. They are also compatible with plastic so can be used in conjunction to further creativity. This is Makers Bricks, where modern design meets sustainability. However, before kids everywhere can enjoy these incredible, wooden construction toys, Makers Bricks needs help. That’s why they launched this Kickstarter campaign. The goal of this project is to raise $10,000 by February 26, 2016. The funds raised will go towards expanding production to meet current demands and towards expanding their product line. They are releasing Maker Bricks, an upgraded version of their Bricks, which comes with markers for decorating. Support will allow them to invest in the equipment they need in order to bring Maker Bricks to more families.
