Naked Marketing – for the Small and Medium Business

Web Resource Centre has been opened now for a few months and their attitude is refreshing to say the least as it’s all about helping small and medium businesses compete effectively on and off line with their “No Frills Approach” and with tongue in cheek they call it Naked Marketing.

Entrepreneur, David Birchall and Business Partner Loraine Birchall opened an Authority Media Agency in Cumbria that will focus on serving the UK market using their brand of Naked marketing.

Birchall’s agency, working under Web Resource Centre and Web Resource News will help entrepreneurs position themselves as an authority/expert in their market using different forms of media and innovative techniques and approaches.

BIRCHALL SAID: “Naked – What Me? No (he said, laughing) it’s the marketing and techniques we use that are “Naked” and we’ve called them “Naked” because you can see exactly what we are doing to help business owners achieve their Branding and Positioning objectives. No Smoke and Mirrors!”

He went on to say: “The web has brought about many significant changes and to attract attention to a brand, a business owner these days needs not only to promote their business, but also to promote themselves. People are moving away from liking a brand and more onto liking people. Let’s face it, people buy from people better than they buy from machines. They also want to know that the people they are dealing with – know what they are doing; they want experts looking after them.”

Authority marketing tactics and techniques are gaining mainstream appeal, and business leaders are talking about it, for example:

John Jantsch, author of best seller Duct Tape Marketing, said in an article for Entrepreneur Magazine, “Building personal brand authority is perhaps the most important element of marketing today for a brand, business, or individual trying to gain an edge. It doesn’t matter how big or little an audience you might command, it’s all about the right people believing in your point of view or way of doing business.”

Daniel Newman, a contributor for Forbes Magazine wrote in an article recently saying that, “Influencers may be marketing’s next ‘golden goose,’ as people no longer trust ads, but they do trust people. More accurately, they trust a voice of authority.”

Birchall says; “There is little doubt that the demand for authority marketing, branding and positioning services is growing due to the recent media coverage and activity, and with Web Resource Centre and Web Resource News we will service that need. It really is time for small and medium businesses to wake up and smell the coffee. Using this form of Naked Marketing can help SMB’s compete with the large organisations as well as local competition.  Put simply it stops them being one of those ‘I’m here too’ listings on search engines and it makes them stand out from the crowd.”
