The first line of the description written on the book takes the reader in history, to 1943 when a man is asking a woman, “What did Extraterrestrials tell you about God?” And the lady replies by saying “God is dead.” Just this tiny bit of description instills a lot of curiosity among the readers that is why, author JT Alblood’s book “Save the last bullet for God” is receiving rave reviews from the readers across the world.
“I’m still speechless from the story, but I feel the need to share my review anyhow. This book was a rollercoaster of a read. A sci-fi themed read, I personally thought of a psychological thriller of sorts as well. My favorite part of the book was Oktay, and the truth of his situation. It curled me inside out when I read his wife’s (Elif’s) account of the same events. I really enjoyed how the story came full circle at the end. I couldn’t stop turning the pages. I recommend to anyone who wants to read a book that they can submerse themselves in,” says Amazon user Sara Olson in her review.
The book is a Trilogy set consisting of Alpha Tauri Strain”, “Code of Disjointed Letters” and “Homo Avatarius”. The storyline of the book is captivating yet relatable to the readers at many levels, despite being fictional. The author highlights some though provoking aspects of human history and the readers are left to find out if history is just an illusion created by humans, whether the alien invasion took place among the chaos of World War 2 and what will happen if, on the inside, all humans are aliens.
The background of the story is set in Vienna in 1920, where Wilhelm Reich, a medical student is working as a night nurse in a mental hospital. He happens to meet Maria Orsic, a beautiful woman suffering from paranoid schizophrenia and starts to fall in love with her. He helps her to escape the mental hospital only to lose her next morning.
The story moves years forward and he starts working as a psychiatrist in Berlin where he meets Maria again, who needs his help one more time because she has received a message from the aliens.
“Truly was one of the most complex high concept novels I have laid eyes on in a long time,” says a review posted by Best of the alien time travel science fiction alternate history.
The characters are inspired by the real life which grabs the attention and empathy of the readers, while they’re caught in a world surrounded by the supernatural, Nazis, secret codes, the number Pi, the holy book, alien invasion, occult societies and so much more.
