AUSTIN, TX – The Heavy Equipment Exchange, the world’s first online, dealer-only wholesale marketplace for the global trade of both on-and off brand heavy equipment, announced today that it has added key team members, Mark Elbaum, joins the team as an Account Executive and Matthew Magby as a Dealer Success Consultant.
In his new role as account executive, Mark Elbaum, with more than 30 years of industry experience in management roles with Thompson Machinery, Syracuse Supply and Southworth-Milton Caterpillar Dealers and most recently with H&R Construction Parts, takes the lead to expand the membership base of THE Exchange. He will be responsible for building the global member base and machine population to provide bottom line benefits to THE Exchange’s member base. Most recently, Elbaum served as a Dealer Used Equipment Manager where his results were enhanced by his keen ability to analyze markets, user needs and produce positive results year after year.
Matthew Magby, an accomplished sales and customer service front-runner, joins THE Exchange as a Dealer Success Consultant. Magby’s role is to provide support to members to ensure they are effective in generating greater value through THE Exchange. He has carved out a successful career in sales, technical support and has advanced training with state of the art technology tools. Prior to joining THE Exchange, Magby spent the last 3 years working for Samsung Electronics as an Experience Consultant, offering sales solutions and training to new and existing Samsung customers.
