CHICAGO – Molly Coeling, a Level 4 Reiki Master and founder of Therapeutic Massage & Reiki, is proud to announce her article was published in Spirit Seeker Magazine. Coeling’s article, “Reiki Massage: An Integrative Approach to Bodywork (The Body as Sacred)” is featured in the March 2016 edition. She covers her approach to Reiki and the importance of an integrated massage in this feature article.
In Spirit Seeker Magazine, Molly discusses how she must trust her senses during the massage session. Adapting techniques to specific situations and issues is explained. It’s not always useful to go by textbook protocols, she touches on. The Reiki expert also explains the importance of working with the experience rather than just the physical.
Molly is also a co-founder of the Midwest Reiki Community. In 2012, she graduated as valedictorian from the Soma Institute National School of Clinical Massage Therapy. Molly was involved in community-based research prior to that, working in youth violence prevention in Chicago and cancer prevention interventions in Boston. She was also a U.S. Peace Corp volunteer in the Dominican Republic and has a Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan.
