Springfield, MO – March 16, 2016 – Long time sign painter, Derek Eckels, launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund an invention he has been working on for over eight years – the Paint Can Perforator. This tool creates holes in the channel of a paint can, which allows the paint that would normally build up and dry out on the rim to drip back into the can. This saves painters time, money, and lengthens the quality of the paint. The goal is to raise $20,000 by April 8, 2016.
Eckels understands the struggles of paint building up on the rim of paint cans. This hinders the lid from being secured properly and causes precious paint to dry out. The Paint Cain Perforator fixes this frustrating problem. Users simply hammer in the Perforator on the can. Little spikes are created to make holes in the lid channel so that excess paint goes back into the container. Many companies have expressed interest in this invention such as big paint vendors, Sherwin-Williams. Be one of the first to support this campaign and pre-order a Paint Can Perforator today.
