Real-time strategy board game launches Kickstarter campaign to fund the project

YOKOHAMA, Japan – March 21, 2016 – CODE HORIZON is a real-time strategy board game that’s revolutionizing the industry. The founder, Ken Matsui, and his team of talented programmers, electrical engineers, writers, and concept artists have worked tirelessly to make this board game a reality. Now, they need help from the community to complete the project. The company launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $30,000 by April 15, 2016. Funds received will cover completion of the game, develop the app, prepare mass production for the hardware, and make it available to the masses.

The players of CODE HORIZON operate through various robots with highly tactical commands that incorporate Sun Tzu’s “Art of War.” On a tabletop, users strategically deploy three actual “Valkyrie Rover (VRO) robots.” Then, using the exclusive CODE HORIZON app, players deploy their virtual infantry units known as “machinery.” This game tests the users mind as they gather information, predict opponents moves, and formulate winning strategies to defeat the enemy. The VRO’s are autonomously-moving robots that can read the surrounding environment, follow the player’s tactical commands over different terrain effects, and move over the map to fight enemies in real-time.

To win the game, players need to achieve their assigned missions. There are three types of missions:

1. Remove the battle capacity of all the enemy player’s VROs.

2. Remove the battle capacity of the enemy player’s leader VRO.

3. Be the first to solely occupy the key plant location.

In the future, the app will include a development kit for adding unique tactical commands and a 4-player team battle mode.

Please keep in mind this is an “all-or-nothing” deal. If the campaign does not reach the funding goal, then the project cannot move forward. So know that any amount given can make a difference. This is also an incredible opportunity to be a part of a special project! Help the campaign reach its goal by sharing this on Facebook, Twitter, and other social networks. The more people know about this, the more support the campaign will receive.
