SANDPOINT, Idaho – March 21, 2016 – “If Trees Could Sing” is a whimsical children’s book that inspires the inward journey of listening within and honoring the Oneness of Life. Author, Lissa “Elissabeth” Defreitas, has teamed with Balboa Press-Hay House to publish the allegorical story for every child to enjoy. A nine-movement soundtrack will partner with this story in audio book format, to offer a unique reading experience full of imagination and imagery. To fund this process, Defreitas launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $6,200 by April 12, 2016.
“This light and allegorical story depict the preciousness of All life; as well, reveals the healing power that comes from listening within to the voice of our Inner True Self. While traversing the ridges of loss and separation, a transformational journey invites remembrance of the wisdom and knowing that awaits the discovery of the Pearl of Light within.”
~ Lissa “Elissabeth” Defreitas, Author of If Trees Could Sing
The story follows an eight-year-old girl, Christina, as she joins her family for the first time on an annual apple harvest. Through this unexpected rite of passage she develops a mystical friendship that changes her life forever. The story teaches children the importance of listening to their Inner True Self as they grow older. The nine-movement soundtrack is in the process of editing and mastering and will be produced through CD Baby. The track has deepening sounds of a Celtic harp, Native American flute, and keyboard that captivates and draws the reader into a magical journey. This gentle and light-hearted musical CD soundtrack will be a gift of thanks to donors.
