Current Aviva Premiership Champions Saracens are currently preparing their team for one of the biggest events in their calendar, the Derby Day clash against Harlequins at Wembley Stadium on Saturday the 16 of April.
2016 also marks the third year of FM Outsource working alongside Saracens to promote the game. FM Outsource were presented with a huge opportunity over two years ago to help boost the success of this already popular team.
During the 2013 and 2014 campaigns, FM helped Saracens break two consecutive world records (the Biggest Non-International Rugby Union match attendance, ever.)
To do this, FM firstly initiated a comprehensive audit against direct competitors in the field which then lead to laying out precise digital strategies to drive website traffic and boost ticket sales. FM Outsource used a wide range of social media advertising, using platforms like Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and Twitter.
FM supported Saracens with our knowledge of online social presence and its importance since their fans span out across the world. This meant that targeting the wide scope of Saracens supporters was key to ensuring success – FM proved this possible by increasing their fanbase 260% on Facebook since 2013.
This year’s game looks to be just as successful, having already sold over 65,000 tickets and also featuring an appearance from UK pop singer, Foxes.
