Augmented Publishing Group (APG), and husband-and-wife real estate duo Gregory and Amber Harris are joining forces to launch a new book project and have begun a search for professionals in Woodland Hills, California to be part of the project.

The Los Angeles-based firm Augmented Publishing Group just announced the official launch of their search for professionals to be featured in the upcoming book, “The Who, What and Why of Real Estate — How to Buy and Sell A Property in Today’s Economy — Woodland Hills Edition.”

Lisa Williams, the president of APG, confirmed that the real estate duo Gregory and Amber Harris have signed on to head up the search team.

Williams stated, “We are thrilled to be able to attract the involvement of a husband and wife team for this important project. Gregory and Amber Harris have incredible commitment and passion for the families and clients in their community.”

A citywide search is currently being conducted to find professionals for the project such as mortgage brokers, real estate attorneys, financial advisors, appraisers, home inspectors, insurance agents, estate planning attorneys, credit professionals, handymen, tax professionals, general contractors, home stagers, moving companies and landscapers.

Gregory Harris explained their search process by saying, “We are excited to spearhead this project. We’ll be reaching out to a select group of professionals whom we feel are true educators and advocates for the success of home buyers and sellers in the Woodland Hills community, while also spreading the word about a great cause.” Williams and the Harrises have pledged to donate 100 percent of their retail royalties to Pomelo Community Charter school in West Hills.

Scheduled for a summer release, each chapter of the book will focus on each of the selected professionals who will share their insights and tips, as well as disprove any myths and misconceptions around buying and selling real estate.

Williams described the book as “a powerful resource for home-sellers trying to balance their choices when preparing their home for quick sale and/or maximum price. The information will also tackle the most common challenges faced by home-buyers, from qualifying for the right mortgage to getting their offer accepted in any type of market.”

According to Williams, several industry leaders have expressed an interest in participating. She and the Harrises expect to make an announcement revealing the final selections by the first of May.

“We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project, for both Pomelo Community Charter Elementary and the people we select to be featured in the book. We really want to showcase those professionals who are actually in the trenches, working hard every day and who are willing to share that experience to benefit a great cause, and the success of the homeowners in Woodland Hills. That’s what will make this a win-win project.”
