Wheeling, West Virginia – May 3, 2016 – Fans of Matt VanFossen are excited to hear that he will release his first, full-length album later this year and launch a radio tour to share his music with the world. After he received great success with the EP Boom in 2014, Matt is ready to put new music together. However, to make a great album, Matt needs help from his fans and the music community. That’s why he launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $20,000 by May 30, 2016. The funds received will cover recording, distribution, and marketing efforts for his new album.
Matt has already been working with publishers across the United Sates and his good friend, Sherrie Austin. Four songs have been chosen to be part of the album:
• “Where You Gonna Run To Now?” (Lead Single.)
• “Kentucky Girl”
• “I Don’t Know”
• “Are You Ever Gonna Love Me?”
The live acoustic version of the lead single – “Where You Gonna Run To Now?” is available on Facebook, which will also be available on YouTube later. The video concept for this song is already in the sketching process. Matt plans to record all summer and pick six to eight more songs to put into his first album, which will include the country version of Three Doors Down hit “Here Without You.”

About Matt VanFossen
The artist released his first album in 2009 and had a regional hit with “Time Ain’t What It Used To Be.” The song made it to #76 on Wheeling, W. Va. based radio station WOVK’s 2010 Year end countdown and he was named the second most played local artist. With the release of his new EP, “BOOM”, VanFossen is taking his career to exciting new levels. Whether he’s performing a hard driving rocker such as “Close If It Ain’t It” or a heartbreaking ballad like “Get To You,” VanFossen’s live shows are not to be missed. His voice is often compared to artists such as Garth Brooks, Rascal Flatts, and Blake Shelton. Not bad company for an entertainer who continues to forge his own path as an independent artist.
