Toronto – North Toronto Health, the renowned wellness spa that offers various types of massage therapy along with acupuncture, chiropractic, naturopathy, and holistic nutrition has announced that their numerous services are now available for the residents of the entire Toronto region. The announcement is in line with the spa’s mission to promote a pain-free lifestyle among the people of Canada.
“We believe that the use of massage therapy and other alternative forms of medicine can help alleviate pain in many people today, and current scientific research backs up that belief,” asserts Cindy Qi, the founder of North Toronto Health who graduated with honors from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy. “People don’t have to endure pain when they don’t have to, and they certainly won’t have to rely on pain relievers alone.”
Cindy is a registered massage therapist and a registered acupuncturist with 9 years of experience. She is also trained in Tuina Chinese massage and Shiatsu. In addition, she is also certified in pregnancy massage and in sports massage.
“Our team therapists are all licensed, and we don’t employ amateurs who may do more harm than good with their ill-advised treatments,” assures Qi. “We know what’s right or wrong with massages and other forms of treatment, because we all have years of experience as therapists.”
Their massage services include Myofascial Release, Shiatsu, Swedish massage, and Thai massage. Other massages available at North Toronto Health include Tuina massage, hot stone massage, and cupping therapy. Heated stones can be used to warm down muscles and to treat chronic and acute conditions, or a cup with a vacuum inside can be used to draw up the skin to boost circulation in the area.
“We first discuss the right wellness goals with our clients so that the proper treatment can be formulated,” explains Qi. “We don’t offer a cookie-cutter approach to our treatments, and instead we offer customized plans that cater to each client as a unique individual.”
Their treatments may also incorporate several types of services. That also involves planning the right diet that is tailored for a client’s individual needs. Each diet recommended by the spa is also devised and monitored by a certified nutrition planner.
“We take everything important into account, which is why we combine massage treatments with proper nutrition so that our clients can become healthier, more flexible, and in less pain,” assures Qi. “We make sure that our clinic is welcoming and comfortable, and we even provide clients with everything they need for their insurance purposes.”
