CHICAGO – New Day, Chicago’s premier Network Spinal Analysis provider, has announce that a walking lunch will take place with Dr. Katie Ray on Friday, May 13. From May through August, walking lunches will take place on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month. Each walk starts at about 1:00pm.
The goal of the Walking Lunch outings is to encourage wellness throughout the New Day community of clients, as well as friends and neighbors. Dr. Katie has always enjoyed walking, and looks forward to sharing walks with others. The excursions will explore the Lincoln Square, Northcenter, and Ravenswood neighborhoods of Chicago, and encourage discussions about how to achieve better health, wellness, and happiness.
Participants do not need to RSVP to be part of the bi-weekly walks. All they have to do is show up with comfortable shoes. As the activity is rain or shine, an umbrella or jacket is recommended.
New Day specializes in Network Spinal Analysis Care. This form of care focuses on the nervous system in promoting healing throughout the body. Treatments are intended to restore connections between the brain and body. It was created by Dr. Donald Epstein. Dr. Katie discovered the program from personal experience and decided to leave her career and become a chiropractor as a result.
Unlike traditional treatments, Network Care chiropractic involves light touches along the spine, which create positive changes in the nervous system. The result is a preprogramming of patterns of pain and stress, but also a teaching of the nervous system to run more efficiently.
Dr. Katie offers free consultations, discussing the client’s concerns for 15-20 minutes. Exams during the initial 90-minute visit include surface electro myography, palpation, and posture analysis. Regular visits are about 30 minutes.
